When is a Bouncer at a Club like Nutrients in Food?

Fruits and vegetables are good for you.  Now that’s not shocking news to most people.  Most of us realize that it’s better to reach for the apple than the donut.  But how much do we realize that our health really does depend on many times we pick f/v over other foods?  Unless you’re in the medical field, once your food leaves your mouth, there’s little knowledge as to the inner workings of your body.  It’s like me filling up with gas.  I’m clueless with how the car uses it.  I just know that I need it to get from point A to point B and if I refuse to get it, I’m stranded on the side of the road somewhere.  Fruits and veggies are like bouncers at a night club.  They block rouge cells that may want to wreak havoc by showing their bad boy genes and turning into cancer cells.  These tough bouncers get their muscle strength from all the nutrients found in our fruits and vegetables.  Scientist are still discovering the function of some of these nutrients.  That’s why your strong bouncer nutrients need to come from the actual fruit and vegetable and not from your local Supplement shop.  In fact, these bouncers are so good that they could help decrease 1.7 million deaths globally if we would up our intake of fruits & vegetables.  So munch away knowing your unlocking the bouncer inside our fruits & veggies to do their job in helping protect your health! (“Low intakes of fruits and vegetables account for an estimated 1.7 million deaths globally, including but not limited to those caused by gastrointestinal cancer (14%), ischemic heart disease (11%), and stroke (9%) WHO.
