How to keep your child from turning into the Hulk

When my kids were younger (and actually I still do this), while I'm cooking dinner and their bellies are grumbling louder and louder, I put out a plate of raw veggies (my go to is carrots).   Don't miss this golden time for them to get a head start on some veggie munching while they wait for their meal to be done!  This helps provide some extra servings of nutrient packed food while keeping your child from turning into an hangry (real word) hulk!
